DPHS seniors attended the LaunchNW Senior Summit at the Spokane Convention Center. Students had an opportunity to learn about various trades, financial aid opportunities (FAFSA, grants, scholarships), college essay writing skills, and listened to a panel of college students. They also heard a motivational speaker who told students to follow their passion, find their joy, and find something that challenges them. Way to go seniors!
Check out the progress on the varsity softball field! The fencing, backstop, dugout foundation, asphalt, and irrigation are complete! Many thanks to the capital projects team, school board, and the facilities advisory committee for making this project possible!

Today Deer Park Rotary named Delaney Newman as October's student of the month. Delaney has a 4.0 G.P.A, and is on track to be Valedictorian.
Delaney is a varsity athlete and plays Volleyball and Softball. She was selected as First Team All-League in Volleyball last year and Second Team All-League for Softball her Sophomore and Junior years.
She is also a leadership student at DPHS!
