Many thanks to Mayor Tim Verzal for visiting Arcadia's third (3rd) graders this afternoon. Mayor Tim emphasized that our students ARE our FUTURE! They also learned about his job as mayor, how he was elected, and the importance of voting!
Our Lady Stags were led out on the field Tuesday night at ONE Stadium in Spokane by our 4th grade girls SYSA Soccer team. The Stags won 2-0! Many thatnks to the future Stags who cheered them on from the sidelines. It was a great night for community engagement in our soccer program.!

DPHS seniors attended the LaunchNW Senior Summit at the Spokane Convention Center. Students had an opportunity to learn about various trades, financial aid opportunities (FAFSA, grants, scholarships), college essay writing skills, and listened to a panel of college students. They also heard a motivational speaker who told students to follow their passion, find their joy, and find something that challenges them. Way to go seniors!

Today Deer Park Rotary named Delaney Newman as October's student of the month. Delaney has a 4.0 G.P.A, and is on track to be Valedictorian.
Delaney is a varsity athlete and plays Volleyball and Softball. She was selected as First Team All-League in Volleyball last year and Second Team All-League for Softball her Sophomore and Junior years.
She is also a leadership student at DPHS!
