Vision:

The Facilities Advisory Committee (FAC) is dedicated to creating safe, sustainable, and long-lasting facilities that inspire learning and support the future of Deer Park. We’re committed to meeting the evolving needs of our students, staff, and community through thoughtful, forward-focused planning.

Our Facilities Advisory Committee (FAC) is made up of Deer Park community members, including parents, staff, board members, and residents. The committee works to assess the district’s facility needs and provides long-term planning recommendations to the school board. This includes repairs, improvements, and anticipating future needs to support students, staff, and the broader community.

Projects & Discussions

Current Plan

At the February 11, 2025 Facilities Advisory Committee Meeting, the following plan was recommended to the school board for the future of our children and to address safety and security concerns:

Your taxpayer dollars are hard at work and we want to be transparent with where they are going and how we plan to continue to put them to good use.

Please keep in mind that costs are anticipated to escalate and increase over time.

How to Join the FAC

Deer Park is special in the way that we are a small community and to be a part of the FAC is simply a matter of volunteering and attending our meetings. Keep an eye out for future meetings and if you have questions, concerns or want more information please don't hesitate to reach out.
