Remembering and honoring our veterans. Thank you for your service!

Each of our schools honored and remembered veterans today. Students learned about the meaning of Veteran's Day, each of the armed forces, and expressed gratitude to all veterans. May you remain in our hearts as we are grateful for your service!

Thank You Veterans!
Good evening DPMS families. This email is an invitation to our Veteran's Day Assembly tomorrow @ 2:00 in the Gym. All are welcome as we acknowledge and show our appreciation for the sacrifice all of our Veterans have given our country. Please enter through the gym door (after 1:45) and look for seating in chairs on the floor. I am also attaching our Veterans Assembly Slide Show that our students made to honor our families specific veterans.
Thank you and have a great night and remember that Monday is a non-school day holiday.
And of course, Go Spikes!

DPMS Conferences Plan!
Good morning DPMS families. This message is to inform you of our plan for conferences. Please follow the links to our conferences letter explaining in detail the plan as well as a sheet for you to schedule your conference. A paper copy of both of these will be coming home today with your child as well.
Conferences are Monday, Nov. 25th in the evening (the 25th is a 1/2 day of school AM), and then Tuesday, Nov. 26th most of the day. Please send back your requested time sheet with your child as soon as possible to get your requested time. Students must bring their Chromebook to their conference as they will have prepared a slide show to share with you. During our student led conferences, we also have the goal of having all of your child's teachers touch base with you during that time.
If you have any questions please let me know!
Thank you! And Go Spikes!

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
We are excited with the number of students who have shown interest in DPMS Archery Club. The Archery Club is designed to improve archery skills, while also practicing for the upcoming state tournament. The club will meet most Thursdays at 7:00AM in the DPMS gym and will increase the frequency of practice as we approach the tournament.
Students who are committed to the team will be eligible to participate at the state tournament. The DPMS team will consist of sixth, seventh, and eighth grade archers. Students who are interested in participation at the state level are required to attend practices. The state tournament will be held on February 14th or 15th in Kennewick. More information will be made available closer to these dates.
We are excited to provide this opportunity for your child and look forward to continuing the DPMS Archery Club’s success. We will start practices on November 7th. Parents, you may drop off your children at the entrance to the gym door at 7:00AM each Thursday, starting on November 7th, 2024. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Ranger at 509-464-5842.
