Hello, Ranger families!
What an amazing start to the year with our 1st and 2nd graders! They have learned the routines for recess and lunch, and they continue to create strong relationships with their teachers and peers.
Families have been so helpful during drop off and pick up! Thank you! We anticipate we may have a few days of congestion with the start of kindergarten on Tuesday, September 6th.
Concerning drop off, please remember that parents traveling south on Weber Rd. should be aware that once the staging lot to the south of DPE has filled, you will be unable to turn left off Weber. Instead, parents will be asked to continue south to the high school parking lot to turn around. As these vehicles make their way back toward DPE, they will stage off to the side of the road, allowing northbound traffic to pass. We plan to have school staff helping with this the first couple of days. Your cooperation will allow us to create the safest situation for all involved and will help keep traffic moving on Weber. Please see the map, below.
While in the drop off lane, please remember to pull forward as far as possible, stay in your vehicle, and be patient as vehicles merge to exit the parking lot.
Again, we appreciate your help in creating a safe experience for all students!
Wishing you a wonderful 3-day weekend,
Tricia Kannberg, Ed.D., principal, and Haley Maxfield, assistant principal
