Greetings DPE Families!
We have had a great start to the year! As we visit classrooms each day, we see confident and happy learners.
Following are a few updates and “To-Do” items for families:
- From DPSD Transportation Department: If your children ride the bus, we need your help. Please fill out this form one time for each child who will be riding the bus. Thank you for filling out this form so that we have accurate and updated information in our system. FORM HERE
- Please review the Attendance Awareness flyer, attached.
- Lost and found:
- We have a Padlet that families can check frequently to view items that have been turned into lost-and-found. If you see an item that may belong to your student, please remind them to check lost-and-found or send a message to their teacher to have your child check. Padlet link: DPE Lost-and-Found
- Items that remain in lost-and-found will be donated on the last Friday of each month. Items collected the last week of the month will be held through the following month to allow families time to check for lost items.
IMPORTANT: For the safety of our students, please make sure you call the office, 509-464-5600, prior to 2:00 pm if there is a change in how your child will go home.
We would like to introduce and welcome our new attendance secretary, JoHanna Zimmerer. Please be patient as she gets to know families. For the safety of our students, she will be asking for identification. Thank you!
